Hi @KarelWintersky ,

No, it’s merged into the 3.x development branch, which will include some major changes and breaking updates. We could merge it into 2.x and issue a patch release, but personally, I don't think it's that critical. It would only save a few kilobytes in your Composer vendor folder. Could you elaborate on why this is so important for you?

not sure yet, no we will drop not supported versions => https://www.php.net/supported-versions.php
