Unfortunately I don't think this will work as the ubuntu ghc PPA and the haskell debian repository do not have versions of GHC beyond 9.0.1 or versions of cabal beyond 3.4 . You would need to use a direct install approach like the Haskell official images or use ghcup based images. Ghcup is probably a good fit here where you want to easily support many OS versions + ghc / cabal versions. |
