To-Do Application with Django Web Framework
This is a simple to-do application created with Django Web Framework, which uses HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap for the front-end design.
Getting Started
Prerequisites
Before running the application, you need to have the following software installed on your system:
Python 3 Django Web Framework Installation Clone this repository to your local machine: bash
Copy code git clone https://github.com/your-username/to-do-django.git
Navigate to the project directory: bash Copy code cd to-do-django
Create a virtual environment for the project: bash Copy code python -m venv venv
Activate the virtual environment: On Windows:
bash Copy code venv\Scripts\activate On macOS and Linux:
bash Copy code source venv/bin/activate
Install the project dependencies: bash Copy code pip install -r requirements.txt
Run database migrations: bash Copy code python manage.py migrate
Create a superuser account: bash Copy code python manage.py createsuperuser
Start the development server: bash Copy code python manage.py runserver
Open your web browser and go to http://127.0.0.1:8000/admin/ to log in with the superuser account and create some tasks.
Open another tab in your web browser and go to http://127.0.0.1:8000/ to view the tasks and mark them as complete.
Usage After following the installation steps, you can use the application by navigating to http://127.0.0.1:8000/ in your web browser.
