How should I go about securing ovpn-admin?

Hey I'm sorry this might be a reallllly dumb question, but wanted to know how I should go about securing ovpn-admin?

Currently I don't think there's any sort of authentication on the web ui and anyone could freely access it or the api.

Any solutions or did I overlook something?

For mine,I added firewall rules to allow access from my IP address and deny all other traffics

It's easy and works fine for me

I'm running ovpn-admin on AWS EC2 and using EC2 firewall

Personally I use nginx with .htpasswd authentication as proxy to ovpn-admin, which runs on internal IP.

@dainiuxus When you set this up, what did you do to get ovpn-admin to actually listen on that internal IP? All I get on hostname.tech:8080 is the nginx default page once I deply.

• Note that ovpn-admin works fine when I remove nginx and set the port back to 8080

I've started ovpn-admin with parameters:
./ovpn-admin --listen.host="10.10.12.50"

So my ovpn admin was available on 10.10.12.50.
