If this works out, this will obviate #225 and finally resolve #213.

Of note, the Docker and Linux builds both fail because those distros don't ship libpgcommon.a and libpgport.a. I'm tempted to drop Linux support since I don't think we're using it any more except maybe for the Docker image? It seems like that would be better running on Helios if it's possible since that's eventually what we're going to run.
