Include new UI for:

  • Communicating when there are no prekey ensembles and the offline conversation cannot be started.
  • Communicating the security properties of online and offline conversations.

I think these two are different issues. To me, the first one is pretty trivial and we can do it with a simple notification in the message window.
The second one does concern me a bit, and is a trickier thing.

The second one is very related to #99 - my proposal is that we create a new issue for tracking showing all "connection" related security information.

I don't know if it is related to #99 , as it was more around showing that 'offline conversations have fewer deniability properties for this participant'. Let's talk tomorrow @olabini

Hmm. Maybe. I'm not sure =)

Ok, so after discussing this, it is NOT about having a dialog with SSID and other connection related information. Instead, it's about putting a message to the user in the conversation window saying something like "you are using non-interactive OTR, which has different security properties bla bla" or something.
