I just took a quick look at the final rec to study for SSCP with a set of paid courses. We should remove this for a couple of reasons.

  1. My quick research indicates that Security+ is a better certification for newcomers to cybersecurity to pursue. Ref1, Ref2, Ref3, Ref4.
  2. Recommending paid resources cuts against the philosophy of OSSU.
  3. Finally, OSSU focuses on academic resources that match academic standards. Resources geared towards professional certs, etc should be in accompanying resources, not the main curriculum. See some of the items in extras.

Apologies for this late feedback. Do you mind changing the PR to exclude the SSCP reference and courses? Feel free to create a separate PR that adds a 'professional certs' page in extras.

I perfectly understand the philosophy of OSSU and also considered the other reason. I think it will be better to include SSCP in extras section.
