When recording a contribution on the Outreachy website, what does the accepted or merged date field mean and how/when should we fill it? @seanlip |

i think the accepted date is the date which you started your contribution and the merged date could be the date you will submit your contribution, although "merged" is used for people whose contributions are on Github. anyone could add their own opinions too |

Hi @Olivia529 start dates would be the day you start working on a project and merge date would be the day it's approved (for art, practice questions and translation tasks). For others, it would be the day you submit your contribution. |
