xblock-sql-grader | Drop py3.8 support | replace pkg_resource with importlib.resources #181

  • Drop Py3.8 support
  • Upgrade python requirements
  • Replace pkg_resources lib with importlib.resources

Ticket: Move on from deprecated pkg_resources api

Followed migration guide: https://importlib-resources.readthedocs.io/en/latest/migration.html

Testing:
I have tested the changes with following steps:

  • Install xblock-sql-grader into xblock-sdk
  • Test xblock-sql-grader functionality and not crashes
  • Run tox tests

Our goal is to get community contributions seen and reviewed as efficiently as possible.
