Problem to Solve

  1. There are still some images with the old brand kit in docs/website/static/img. It is unclear if they’re actually used or not.
  2. The readme banner also uses old branding, let’s replace it.
  3. While we’re at it we could deprecate the static directory, since we’re now hosting many images at docs.omni.network. Always love removing dirs. This will require update Eigenlayer AVS data on chain.

Proposed Solution

  • remove any images that are unused
  • replace any instances of the old branding that are still used with new branding
  • replace readme banner
  • update eigen avs metadata to use something hosted at docs.omni.network/img/, and remove the static repo

1. Clean up unused static files in docs. When the preview was showing
our old branding yesterday, it was difficult to know which files were
being used. This removes files that are unused so that it's easier to
know what is live.
2. Moves `static-avs-metadata.json` to be hosted on the docs site, so
that we can deprecate the `static` directory (less is more, want to make
the monorepo less confusing). Still need to make an onchain transaction
so our AVS contract still displays correctly on the eigen frontend
(updates where to pull metadata from) but we can merge this and then
remove the static dir later.
