I'm proposing we add a GitHub Action that will automate our release process. This script will kick in when:
A pull request is merged or changes are made to the package.json file on the main/master branch.
Or, we can manually patch the version when needed.
Why this is useful:
Right now, we're doing releases manually, which takes time and can sometimes be a bit of a hassle. With this Action, it'll:
Automatically build the project.
Create release tags for us.
Save us time by making the release process seamless.
