Implement a pip wheel

Have you considered implementing a wheel? The psycopg2 devs rejected a request for it, suggesting the reporter create patches: http://psycopg.lighthouseapp.com/projects/62710/tickets/212-psycopg2-as-wheel-distribution. If you did, they might be willing to merge the patch back into the source.

Hi!

I am the creator of the above mentioned Ticket.
Why? The reasons for a wheel version are here: giampaolo/psutil#505.
I believe it will not be easy to get the psycopg2 maintainers to deliver a wheel version (see psycopg/psycopg2#11).
Maybe Jason Erickson could provide the wheel versions for windows.

It appears that psycopg2 wheels are now available on PyPI, at least for recent versions. Does that make this project redundant?
