It appears that psycopg2 wheels are now available on PyPI, at least for recent versions. Does that make this project redundant? |
Probably. I put this together to scratch an itch several years ago.

Have you considered implementing a wheel? The psycopg2 devs rejected a request for it, suggesting the reporter create patches: http://psycopg.lighthouseapp.com/projects/62710/tickets/212-psycopg2-as-wheel-distribution. If you did, they might be willing to merge the patch back into the source.
