Open call for @nodejs/tsc members to nominate folks for onboarding as per our governance. @nodejs/collaborators, feel free to make suggestions.

Previous onboarding threads: [VI], [V], [IV], [III], [II], [I].

I'm nominating @tunniclm if he's interested because he's already a joyent/node collaborator (the only one left to bring over here apparently) so simply needs a quick onboarding to get up to speed with how we're doing things.

Also, someone needs to run this, @Fishrock123, @chrisdickinson?

I'm willing to run it.

@rvagg I'm interested and would be glad to accept.

I'd be happy to serve as a collaborator :)

Update: On second thought, I don't think I have enough knowledge of the code base to become a collaborator. I'm also fairly short on time these days, so you can count me out for now.

Ok uh, @chrisdickinson do you have time for this? I'm willing to run it but I'm not sure I will actually have time for the next 2 weeks or so.

I take it this hasn't been run yet? I'd like to nominate @zkat if she's interested, I noticed she doesn't have commit access to land the npm PRs.

Definitely not. If anyone else has time it would be appreciated haha. :S

That seems like it could be helpful, so y'all don't have to be waiting around to do fairly routine things. I mean, they'd still need reviews, I assume ;)

I'd like to propose @saghul as well, in the same way that @zkat contributes npm, @saghul contributes libuv and should be able to merge it (I didn't realise he couldn't do that himself until just now!).

Hey all! I'm putting up a tentative poll for this onboarding round. My availability is kind of spotty (yay conference season!) over the next few weeks, so if you can't do any of these times, let me know and I can make adjustments or we can do a quick one-on-one onboarding. The onboarding is usually about 45 minutes to 1 hour long.

I'll make the final selection of times at EOD (PST) on Monday.

If your name is listed below, please fill out this poll.

I already onboarded @tunniclm at NodeConf Eu. :)

@chrisdickinson You can also scratch me off because right now I am happy with only supporting my own patches without any further time commitment.

OK! @romankl, @zkat (rescheduling!) — I've scheduled the onboarding for the Tuesday, the 13th of October, at 11AM PST. That morning you'll receive an email with onboarding notes and a link to a Google hangout. The onboarding shouldn't take the full hour, but please plan on having the hour available in case questions come up.

Thank you for all of your contributions to the Node project! See you Tuesday. 🎉

@romankl — Hey — I'm really sorry, I accidentally overcommitted myself on Tuesday. Could we reschedule?
