Made as part of writing up some docs for nextclade.
Note that
augur exporthere just exports the data it's been given. There is the possibility of sanity checking (e.g. asserting that the provided reference sequences correspond to the root-node sequences + root-node mutations) if we want to go in that direction in the future.
