Transparent profile pictures show up purple. #6618

When uploading a transparent profile pic, the transparent portion shows up purple.

Mmmm we just use the default image processing.
@ZiiX can you share the picture you try it with?

This is the pic to upload to a user account:
profile pic

& this is when viewing above pic from admin account of nextcloud.tld/settings/users
how it looks on admin screen

However, transparencies work fine on user personal profile page.
thanks for all the great work, y'all. Sorry for so little info when I posted this. Current 12.0.3 stable with no modifications. ubuntu 16.04 & postgresql

Aaaah I see the issue, we first set the avatar (to show something) and then fetch the image. However since it is transparent it still show it...

Else it shows up as background to transparent avatars
