Doesn't scan files on sd card[QUESTION] #199
Comments
user here. I only store on SD card. You probably didn't grant access to the card. For me it asked me to iirc, but different android versions might be different. You could head to the app settings page/ android permissions and check there Or go to Namida settings/indexer/list of folders, and see if you can select your folder... |
It says no permissions denied....My phone is running on android 12 btw... |
Look in settings, check my original comment again I edited |
Thanks for your reply and, Yeah I did that...I selected the folder where my files are stored...But it still doesn't bring them in the player for some reason!... |
When you selected the folder in the settings did it look correct and display music before you tapped the check mark at the bottom? It should have started scanning the folder after you selected it? You could scroll back up and do a library refresh and tell what happens? |
@tawsifafnan can u provide a video or logs? normally u should just add the folders and do a refresh/reindex |
as discussed on discord, this was due to faulty sd card paths sometimes, just added a fix for it (not root) in 0b00181 |
Thanks for the quick response...And Good luck for the future 🗿🔥 |
Why doesn't the player show my music files in the sd card?... Can't I use this player if I store my files in sd card?
