The address http://mrpotes.github.com/cukes-jvm-eclipse-plugin/update-site is giving me a 404, does anyone know why this is happening?

It's not a website, it's an update site - you can see the site.xml here:
http://mrpotes.github.io/cukes-jvm-eclipse-plugin/update-site/site.xml

However, there has been much more recent activity on the official cucumber
plugin which you might like to try - find it via the official cucumber
website.
