Inconsistent, but sometimes when I try to move a tab from the end of the list near the beginning. I think it happens regardless of where I move it, but importantly it doesn’t always glitch.
Expected behavior
The tab goes (and stays!) where I put it
Actual behavior
If the glitch activates, from this point on there will be two versions of the tab layout. The first time I open the app, or after some unspecified amount of time in a tab (maybe there’s some reset happening in the background if I leave the app with a tab open), the layout will be one way; call it layout 1. if I then focus a tab and go back to the tab layout, the tabs will be in different locations; layout 2. Layout 2 is stable, and no matter what I do, the tabs will stay, but if I move another tab, usually it will end up in a seemingly random location. At this point I’d be in a new layout 1; then, on focus/exit, I’d be in a new layout 2. Note that the layouts will be different, and neither will have moved the tab I want -_-. Usually the difference between layouts 1 and 2 is relatively minor; a few tabs shuffled near where I moved it. Any pop up windows act strangely in this glitched state; if a window opens from, say, tab #1, layout 2 will put it at the end of the list; however, next time I end up in layout 1, I will see it as tab #2, before going back to layout 2. Since ending up in layout 1 is essentially random and focusing a tab to see what it is will always send me to layout 2, it becomes very difficult to find and close those tabs, but that’s alright I suppose.
I don’t know what deactivates the glitch, but it also seems to happen relatively randomly. Usually it takes a few days, but, for example, I had it just before opening this report, and after writing this far it’s gone.
