Purpose

To practice modeling with exponential smoothing models that estimate trend, seasonal, and level components.

Data Sets

This assignment uses several data sets:

1. The bike sharing data set with daily data. 731 daily bike rental data points.
2. The Johnson and Johnson “JohnsonJohnson” data set in questions 5-6.
3. The Iceland “debitcards” data set in question 8.
4. The Google closing prices “goog” data set in question 9-10.
