Override waves-light

Is it possible to override the .waves-light class? I noticed it's automatically added when I use

{{md-btn buttonType='floating' class='white black-text'}}

but with a white class and black icon, light waves don't do me any good.

Looks like any button that's not flat gets this class

yeah imo this shouldn't be added to all buttons, but removing it would be a breaking change. We'll have to wait for 1.0 to remove it
