Hello and welcome to the Chase! There are two rounds in this quiz game. In round 1, you will play a 1-minute rapid fire round. Each correct answer will add $5000 to your winnings. In round 2, you will play against the computer to secure your winnings. You will start 5 steps away from the bank and with each correct answer you move one step closer to the bank. Computer will start 3 steps behind and will move towards you with each correct answer.It will try to chase you down before you could complete your run to the bank. Beat the computer and win this epic battle of wits and speed!
This is web based quiz comprising of two rounds - In the first round, player will attempt to earn as much money as possible in a one-minute rapid fire round. For each correct answer, $5000 are added to the player's total.
In second round, player will attempt to defend the money she won in round 1. Herein, player would be playing against the computer (playing with a 0.5 probability of getting the answer right). The player's goal is to answer enough questions correctly to secure the earned winnings without being caught by the computer, whose job is to catch them by capitalizing on their mistakes.
Computer will start 3 steps behind the player and will move towards the player with each correct answer. Player will start 5 steps away from the bank and will move towards the bank with each correct answer. Player/Computer stays put in case of a wrong answer
Open Trivia Database API - https://opentdb.com/ is the data store used for generating the questions
Run ng serve
for a dev server. Navigate to http://localhost:4200/
. The app will automatically reload if you change any of the source files.
Run ng build
to build the project. The build artifacts will be stored in the dist/
directory. Use the -prod
flag for a production build.
Run ng test
to execute the unit tests via Karma.
Run ng e2e
to execute the end-to-end tests via Protractor.
