Steps to reproduce

• Opened the tool with the keyboard shortcut
• Used the vertical+horizontal ruler with no issues
• Tried to close the tool with the red cross button

✔️ Expected Behavior

The screen ruler to be closed.

❌ Actual Behavior

The screen ruler UI stopped responding and crashed.
