fire the tool, click the measurements and try to measure something on the pdf or word etc.

✔️ Expected Behavior

should measure the pixels

❌ Actual Behavior

when I click on any of the measurement tools mouse icon disappears often times tool crashes afterwards.

Experiencing this issue as well, not sure why it is marked stale.

It is crashing on older versions as well, such as Release v0.80.1. Maybe the root cause is an underlying OS update rather than a powertoys bug?

Facing the same issue. Using the currently lates PowerToys (v0.84.0).
Initially (after boot) it worked for a few measurements. Then I tried to use Ctrl+3 to select the horizontal measurement, but "sysinternals - ZoomIt" catched the shortcut. At that point, the cursor disappeared when selecting one of the measure-tools (horizontal/vertical/frame) and crashed after a few seconds (not responding).
