This repository contains .NET libraries for parsing perf.data
files and decoding
Linux Tracepoint
events, including events that use the EventHeader encoding.

Provider - library for generating Linux user_events tracepoint events.

perf.data
files and decoding tracepoint events. -
DecodeSample - tool that prints the events in a
perf.data
file. Demonstrates basic usage of theDecode
library. -
DecodePerfToJson - tool that converts
perf.data
files into JSON. Demonstrates advanced use of theDecode
library for custom formatting and minimizing allocations. -
Types - library with types used by the
Decode
library. This includes the definitions for theEventHeader
encoding.
