How does “experimental factor- other" differ from "experimental factor"? Clear examples would be really useful for “experimental factor- other", especially since the description for "experimental factor" is very thorough. I actually completely missed that there was even an "experimental factor" term and thought that the "- other" was just a typo.

experimental factors is a controlled field that is ONLY supposed to accept OBO or ENVO ontologies. I added the -other for when a user has something they need to detail, but it doesn't have an ontology.
It might never get used. But I feel we should include it and see as opposed to limiting people and missing information.
I agree examples would help & we could add more detail to the definition
