The instanceof pattern introduced in Java 16 emits code with possibly unnecessary stores. With a code snippets like
instanceof
if (object instanceof Foo foo) { return foo.bar(); }
then the analyzer produces USBR_UNNECESSARY_STORE_BEFORE_RETURN.
