These instructions were originally created to support the workshop Pursuing Phone Privacy Protection, which is being presented at the DEFCON 30 Crypto and Privacy Village Saturday, August 13, 2022 @ 17:00 PDT.

Prerequisites

Setting up your work environment

Preparing the things you gathered in the previous step. These steps should be reviewed and performed before the workshop, to ensure you will get the most out of it.

Liberating the phone

These steps will guide you through the process of installing CalyxOS (or LineageOS for microG) on your device of choice.
