I would like that AltTab is using command + tab shortcut. However, I find no way to disable the default app switcher. That means I end up with two app switchers.

I just upgraded to Ventura, and I was not seeing that behavior on Catalina ...

Am I really forced to use a different shortcut for AltTab?

I can't reproduce the issue. On Ventura, if I set my shortcut to command+tab, it correctly disables the native shortcut.

Could you please share steps to reproduce, and a video showcasing your config, the steps you take, etc? Basically you skipped the Issue Template, but it's there to help provide necessary info.

On my end it looks like alttab isn't taking over the shift+cmd+tab but does take cmd+tab. This shows up if one wants to go backwards in the list after successfully calling on alttab, so both show. Additionally, if one initiates with shift+cmd+tab it never shows AltTab. Using shift+tab does go backwards without opening the native program switcher, however, after Alttab is open.

Ok, for that behavior, there is already a ticket (#2080), and a fix will be released soon.

Sorry for not using the template @lwouis! Indeed @beached is right. I just observed that shift+cmd+tab was triggering the default app switcher! That is precisely my situation. The issue can be closed.
