There's no license on this code. Even a WTFPL would be fine. Just something to formally confirm that it is free-as-in-speech free code. IMHO Apache 2.0 would be better (software patent are evil and wrong), and a copyleft license would be even better, to stop some corporate fuck-puppet building stuff on this and not sharing their own code. But whatever. A license, any free code software license. Thanks.

Sure, I could make that assumption, but I would feel more comfortable recommending this project if I could see an explicit public domain statement in a license file, or in the readme.md.

OK, a little but hard to find though. Would be handy to have that license in the main ReadMe or a license file. Will you folks be staying on GH post-acquisition by MS?

Just put an MIT/BSD license then , problem solved.
