This is a userscript that hides the links on the reddit homepage and on /r/{all,politics,videos}, without hiding anything on the comments pages.
This is distributed as a userscript, so you need a browser extension that runs userscripts.
Violentmonkey can be installed in Firefox and Chromium-based browsers. Userscripts works in Safari.
Then, visit hide_reddit_trash.user.js and Confirm installation.
(Alternatively, create a new script and paste in the entire hide_reddit_trash.user.js source.)
