Compress browser NNUE weights?

official-stockfish/Stockfish#3274 (comment) mentions that the NNUE excitation layer is sparse.
official-stockfish/Stockfish#2862 (comment) mentions that Stockfish does not itself compress data files, which would inhibit other tools from doing the compression themselves.

Are we using the best compression library for transporting NNUE weights between the CDN and in-browser Stockfish?

On transport, the weights are compressed using brotli or gzip. So 20 MB weights become a 10 MB download. I don't think we can do much better.

OK, yes that makes sense. So it would fall to the official-stockfish team to provide a denser (when compressed) file, and/or to users to ensure their browsers cache large files.
