Nucleo Layout Review #5

Need to add contactor controls signal from v.3 |
For starters I fw your schematic heavy, its super readable and pretty. The datasheet for the LDO say that the max voltage input is 20v. If the 450v max Vin that you have for that section is meant to go into it then it will blow up. To make a power conversion like that would take some effort and would likely dissipate a lot of power. What if you use an isolated DC-DC converter from the LV to the HV section of the board instead. |
On your layout are all the vias just for aesthetics? Also again I really like your schematic appearance I am going to show it to the members of my team to copy. |
Quality Assurance Checklist
To make reviews more efficient, please make sure the board meets the following standards and check everything off once the board meets the quality check. Once everything has been checked, the assigned reviewers will begin the review process. Edit this description to check off the list.

Next thing I want to add is reverse polarity protection when I have time.
