Recent versions of xmake contain a bug in the xmake autoconf module. This commit xmake-io/xmake@3df42d0 fixes the bug. Here we install xmake from the `dev` branch containing commit 3df42d0. Signed-off-by: Leo Di Donato <[email protected]>

The current
xmakeversion (2.8.1) contains a regression in their autoconf module that does not let us (or anybody) buildelfutilsproperly from their official xmake repository (which also got fixes after my issue disclosure).This WIP PR (DO NOT MERGE) prepares changes for when
xmake v2.8.2is officially released.Next step:
xmake2.8.2 and update the.devcontainer/Dockerfileto install itFixes #14
