Status is not reported simultaneously between the Quizzes panel and the Activity panel. After waiting several minutes at this step, I had to reload the page to see the activity reported in the panel on the right:

And vice-versa with the second quiz, once the 'completed' status was reported in the Activities panel, it took other reload or navigating away and back to see the 'completed' status reported in the Quizzes panel:

@rtibbles notes that this might be caused by our use of timestamp based filtering in the frontend. But, because with the syncing we are creating notifications for events that happened in the past, that it's no longer working as intended
