Branch: release-0.12

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Run a test setup with a local central and local distributed codebase
  2. Try to register the local distributed with the local central
  3. You may or may not still see the register button/register now warning message after successfully registering. Things should seem totally normal after restarting the server. C

Let's punt to 0.12.3, since it's more UX than a critical bug.

Another behavior related to this issue (see attached screenshots).

After registration on central server, user still see the "Register device" button.

Resolution is to logout then login again.

Hi @dylanjbarth i setup and run the local distributed and the local central.

I try to replicate the issue.

  1. I logged in to local distributed.
  2. I registered the device and it has successfully registered.
  3. The register now button gone and the Syc Now! button show.
  4. I logged in to local central, the device has successfully registered.

The issue that i replicated is already been solved in my last PR #2192
