Open location from URL by creating a server !

For exemple :
http://localhost:5444/chr3:234234-234234234 will select target region in big browser

you mean, when user run Bigbrowser heavy client, it automaticaly run a server that allow user to access via webbrowser to the heavy client ? ....
I don't understand the need of that feature ?

Yes, its particularly useful. IGV do this.
For instance, i created a html page with many location in a href format.
When I click on them, I select the region from bigbrowser.

So its a "service" feature. Like opening skype number url from firefox, you
can do same for big browser
