This is a Feature Request
What would you like to be added
Link Glossary entry on CustomResourceDefinition page.
Why is this needed
CustomResourceDefinition page doesn't have a clear information of what actually it means. as we already have a Glossary entry for this and also i don't see anywhere we are referring this Glossary. it would be beneficial for readers to provide Glossary tool tip.

This issue is currently awaiting triage.

SIG Docs takes a lead on issue triage for this website, but any Kubernetes member can accept issues by applying the triage/accepted label.

The triage/accepted label can be added by org members by writing /triage accepted in a comment.

Instructions for interacting with me using PR comments are available here. If you have questions or suggestions related to my behavior, please file an issue against the kubernetes/test-infra repository.

Looks like the reference page for CustomResourceDefinition is automatically generated.

If we decided should to pursue this then changes might be needed either in the generator code or the API definition that the generator uses as its input.

In #38682 I suggested part of a mechanism that could help. However, we did not have enough volunteers to staff the improvement.

Should we do this just for CustomResourceDefinition? (My opinion: no, we should focus on #25505)

The Kubernetes project currently lacks enough contributors to adequately respond to all issues.

This bot triages un-triaged issues according to the following rules:

  • After 90d of inactivity, lifecycle/stale is applied
  • After 30d of inactivity since lifecycle/stale was applied, lifecycle/rotten is applied
  • After 30d of inactivity since lifecycle/rotten was applied, the issue is closed

You can:

  • Mark this issue as fresh with /remove-lifecycle stale
  • Close this issue with /close
  • Offer to help out with Issue Triage

Please send feedback to sig-contributor-experience at kubernetes/community.

/lifecycle stale

@k8s-ci-robot k8s-ci-robot added the lifecycle/stale Denotes an issue or PR has remained open with no activity and has become stale. label Jan 25, 2024
