With this release we are announcing General Availability of following components:

  • Vertical Pod Autoscaler API
  • Vertical Pod Autoscaler Recommender

Following components are still pre-release:

  • Vertical Pod Autoscaler Updater
  • Vertical Pod Autoscaler Admission Controller

Other changes:

  • Adds support for CronJobs
  • VPA deployments updated to use apps/v1 API

Bug fixes:

  • VPA validation reviews all VPA api versions and all VPA object creations
