Describe the solution you'd like
This issue is to track the development towards v1alpha2, including Machine States & Preboot Bootstrap Proposal.

  • Design how to handle v1alpha1 to v1alpha2 upgrades
  • Document how infrastructure providers can upgrade their codebase to v1alpha2
