  • We should update the topic of the seminar at least 3 days before the session

  • With the agreement from the author, I would include the most successful presentations as videos as well

  • Requirements for pages:

    • I would like to be able to see a page with all finished open-mic sessions (and all up-comming)
      • alternative proposals
        1. one post for upcoming events; other posts for done open-mic sessions
        2. have tags open-mic and open-mic-announcements and have a page that filters "open-mic, open-mic-announcements with the date that is in the future)
        3. explicit site
    • I would like to find open-mic sessions not only from announcements (e.g. site structure, button on home page)
  • Requirements for workflow:

    • the author has to approve (not sure how to do it if external)
    • it should be easy to create an announcement/final post
    • there should be some time limits when doing an announcement (e.g. two weeks)
  • Requirements for video call software:

    • everyone should be able to join
    • easy to record (if open-mic manager is missing, we should be able to record)
    • !? prefer stable link

A/C:

  • workflow document is created
  • there is information in KBSS calendar

To the content I suggest:

  • looks great! 👏
  • "The text presentation is available at" --> "The presentation slides is available at"
  • "Video and presentation included." --> "Presentation slides and recording is included" ?
  • tagging is a great idea - I assume that it does not work yet

@blcham check if everythong is fulfilled, then close

@MichalMed I would change the text:
#24

Regarding the content I like it there is just one thing that bothers me -- there are too many "open mic" words on the page and thus it is hard to read the topic itself. Imagine, there are 30 open-mic sessions, you will see the words "open mic" 30 times. If possible to fix easily it would be nice, if not leave it.

I cannot close the issue as not all A/C were fulfilled (I marked those that are done).

Ok, what do you suggest. Those posts will be seen also among other posts, so I thought it is crucial to state that it is about open mic :)

That I understand well and that is why I wrote:

I don't have a solution for that other than not using posts at all. The correct way would be I guess to generate posts and the
overview page from one source of data and not to base the solution on the posts directly.

I have created an open mic channel in teams.

@ahmadjana it is weird, as I get in, I get this message:
Screenshot from 2022-06-01 16-35-31
But after closing the popup, I'm in.
I tried to get in using anonymous window and non CTU profile and I got banned. So I'm not sure that it is good idea to use this, since pople outside of CTU do not have access. Maybe that is just some cinfiguration task (@blcham , maybe you could help).

Hi, I know nothing and want to know nothing about MS Teams. So I suggest one of two options:

  1. Just move to a different platform
  2. Describe the issue well (as I don't understand it either) and we send it to Petr Benda or SVTI (find out what is better place)

@blcham Hi,
we tried to use google meet for the open mic but I can't record with my licence.
so, I created treams channel for open mic and we can record, share files and everything but maybe we can not invite people outside of cvut. you are manger of kbss teams so check if we can do that.

@ahmadjana I don't see the option, please google it or write Petr Benda.
