Utilities for 1Password

This project is a collection of utilities contributed by the 1Password community.

A huge hat tip to @MrC for creating the convert_to_1p4 utility and contributing it to help as many people as possible.

Caution: Before working with your sensitive data in unencrypted format, it is a good idea to disable any automatic backup software that could potentially copy your unencrypted data to another location, especially if that location is the cloud. Once you've completed the conversion and securely deleted the unencrypted files, you can re-enable the service. Thanks to @TechGuy2000 for the reminder!

Using the Converters

1. Download the 1Password utilities
2. Unzip the downloaded file.
3. Copy the convert_to_1p4 folder to your Desktop. (important step)
4. Open the README.md file inside the convert_to_1p4 folder and follow the instructions for the converter you need.

Contributing Your Utility

If you'd like to contribute your utility, you have a few options:

1. For the git savvy people, fork this repo and submit a Pull Request (Preferred).
2. For those who haven't mastered git, simply post a message in the 1Password Discussion Forums that includes your script and mention your desire to add it here.

Given the nature of 1Password, we need to manually review all scripts before including them here.
