Troubleshooting

Make sure you're using the latest version!

imgur-screenshot.sh -u

Make sure you have all dependencies installed! (See README)

Other common causes of issues might be:

  • (scrot) You pressed any key during selection
  • (screencapture) you didn't make a selection or pressed Esc.
    • Note: This is a bug which I have reported to Apple. It's fixed in OS X Yosemite
  • You don't have permission to write the file
  • You don't have your display plugged in (wrong terminal?) >_<
  • Your internet is not working
  • Imgur's API is down (yes, this does happen)
  1. If the above didn't help solving the issue, run the script from the terminal and check the output.
  2. If that still doesn't help, open an issue
