A straightforward request: Currently you need to manually toggle between video streams to have someone in the 'main' display. Could there be an option to enable auto-focus? This would help especially smaller meetings.

This is something we are currently working on (it is slightly more complicated than adding an option to enable it). It will be the default behaviour once we have it. @paweldomas @lyubomir and @yanas have alrady spent a number of weeks on it and we hope to have it in the following week or so.

P.S. We really appreciate it when people ask questions on our mailing lists before they open a ticket on a topic

Dominant speaker identification is active at https://meet.jit.si and in the latest masters of Jitsi Meet and Videobridge.
