It would be useful if the JATS Reader supported the abstract element inside front.

In the simple case, the abstract will contain one or more paragraphs.

In more complex cases, the abstract will contain one or more sections, each containing a title and one or more paragraphs.

The JATS DTD allows a lot more types of content in the abstract, but those are the most common and would be sufficient (and handling only the simple case would be a great start).
