ISSC Sports Analytics Workshop

This workshop will be led by José Casas and Colin Conant. Please register by 2:00 p.m. ET on July 9.

There will be two parts:

1. Introduction to Sabermetrics: This workshop will give you a simple introduction to baseball analytics. Learn how to evaluate a player's contribution, performance, and value.
2. Visualizing Basketball shots in R: This workshop will introduce you to finding, manipulating, and visualizing NBA shot data using simple R packages like ggplot! Shot distribution charts, heat maps, 3D plots and more will be covered.
