The footer structure follows the guidelines ISU Theme recommends for layout and default content.

  1. ISU Logo and links to affiliates & associates
  2. Contact information
  3. Social media links
  4. Required legal information: copyright and important links

How to update footer information

  1. Appearance > Settings > IASTATE Theme
  2. Update the fields.
  3. 'Save configuration'
  4. You may need to clear cache to see your changes. Configuration > Performance

Supported social networks:

This is only a partial list of supported social networks. A full list can be found at the ISU Sites Help pages: Available Social Media Icons If a social media platform is not supported, no icon will appear.

For Developers

The Font Awesome icons are added with CSS. The CSS file containing all icons is css/isu-social.css. It is not recommended to modify this file directly. Instead, use a subtheme to add more. More social media platforms may be supported in future updates.
