It would be great to see, interspersed in the comments, when issue assignments change.

@balevine:

Thanks for sending in these feature requests! These ideas about showing all assigned tasks (#76) and threading the assignments with the comments (#77) are definitely interesting. I'll show them to the rest of the team to see what they think.

I would <3 this.

Aside: @whit537 I've noticed that you're active here and so I added you as a collaborator. Please feel free to tag your issues so that they're easier to find later, or create new tags as seems appropriate.

@isaacs Thanks! :D So far it's been enough to filter on "Create by you." I'm looking forward to the day when one of these issues actually gets fixed! :-)

Having changes to label and milestone assignments inline would also be helpful.

Picking up with this, it would also be great to have label and milestone assignments recorded amidst comments. Our team has just started using those features (after a heated discussion about how to use them), and we definitely are wondering who labeled what when.

I've added your suggestions to the Feature Request List. Thanks for the additional feedback.

Hm. A custom webhook now says issue events are pushed on "open, close, assigned, label":
https://imgur.com/VPgmX3B

Oddly enough issue event type in the Activity API docs shows "opened, closed, reopened" events, the discrepency of which surprises me, even though they're not the exact same system:
https://developer.github.com/v3/activity/events/types/#issuesevent

cc: @technoweenie are there really separate sets of event types, or should I submit a PR to the API docs?

I'd hit up [email protected] for a clarification.

Got this reply from @atmos

Hey Patrick,

We pushed out some incomplete mockups the other day and you happened to notice them. We've removed the misleading messaging.

Thanks for reporting this.

cc: @rauhryan as I believe this upcoming feature would make it simpler to minimize requests for @huboard, right?
