  • http endpoint should generate a json map of key values of the record
  • add the header value Content-Type: application/json
  • Allow the user to use basic auth to authenticate to an endpoint
  • Allow the user to use a bearer token to authenticate to an endpoint

other changes to the http endpoint ui are being done here: #14982
