Describe the bug
Prev/next annotation buttons sometimes hang. At some point, one cannot move beyond a certain annotation. Manually selecting a later annotation that should have been moved to and then using the buttons again works (until it stops again).

To Reproduce
Not exactly sure - seems to depend on the data.

Expected behavior
The buttons should always work.
