The project compiles 'as-is' on Ubuntu 20.04 but this issue tracks some additional fit and finish work:

  • The make repackage script targets python2 which is no longer a part of Ubuntu by default
    • Note: One may still install python2 on 20.04 via sudo apt install python2 but we shall embrace the future and move away from requiring python2 for the core ifm3d build
  • Add docker build scripts
  • Publish debians to nexus

Ready for release (except for debians on the apt repository -- but that's a release step)
